Yield Systems announced today a new partnership with the Finnish Center of Artificial Intelligence (FCAI). The partnership is based on long term collaboration in research and on close relations between the experts in both parties.

“Yield Systems is a research-based spin-out company from Aalto University and we have been working with Yield Systems since the very beginning. We are delighted to collaborate with Yield Systems in their mission in using AI capabilities for plant breeding and speeding up the development of crop yields, as well as adaptation to climate change.” says Terhi Kajaste, Manager of Industry and Society Collaboration at FCAI.

In addition to concrete research and innovation outputs, the intangible benefits like new contacts, enhanced insight, competence development and productivity improvements are a major benefit from this kind of close partnership.

“We are very happy to be a part of the FCAI community. We are strongly committed to the FCAI mission in developing AI solutions that effectively benefit society and industry, and help solve the real-life problems of real people,” says Harri Juntunen, co-founder at Yield Systems.
